This Editorial Policy explains how we produce, maintain, and update our content, and how we handle our commercial relationships to ensure our editorial integrity is never compromised.

We hold ourselves to a high standard of editorial conduct. Users of our platform should be confident that the information we provide is honest, thoroughly researched, and free from undue commercial influence. This policy applies to all content published on travelesimple.com, including reviews, comparison tables, destination guides, buying guides, and news articles.

Our editorial team operates independently of our commercial and affiliate partnerships. The providers featured on our platform cannot pay for positive reviews, higher rankings, or preferential editorial treatment. Affiliate commission arrangements do not influence the editorial scores or rankings we assign to any product.

We maintain a clear separation between our editorial function and our commercial function. Decisions about what content to publish, how products are rated, and which recommendations are made to users are made exclusively by our editorial team on the basis of objective assessment and evidence.

Our editorial team has the right to publish negative reviews, to rank affiliated products below non-affiliated alternatives where warranted by objective criteria, and to remove products from our platform where they no longer meet our quality standards, regardless of any commercial relationship.

When reviewing eSIM plans and providers, our editorial team follows a structured assessment methodology. Our reviews evaluate products against the following criteria:

Accuracy is fundamental to our service. eSIM pricing, data allowances, coverage, and device compatibility can change frequently. Our approach to accuracy includes:

We regularly review and update existing content to ensure it remains accurate and relevant. Our content update schedule is as follows:

• Comparison tables: Reviewed and verified at least monthly, or promptly following notification of a material change by a provider;
• eSIM provider reviews: Full reviews are reassessed at least every six months and updated as needed;
• Destination guides: Reviewed every six months or following significant changes to local mobile network availability or regulation;
• Legal and policy pages: Reviewed at least annually and updated to reflect changes in law, regulation, or business practice.

Where content is materially updated, we update the "last updated" date on the relevant page. We do not silently update content in a way that could mislead users about the timeliness of information.

Where we feature user reviews or user-submitted feedback on our platform, we are committed to presenting genuine, unmanipulated user opinions. Our standards for user-generated content include:

• We do not fabricate, incentivise, or suppress user reviews;
• We take reasonable steps to verify that reviews are submitted by genuine users who have experience of the product or service reviewed;
• We moderate user-generated content to remove illegal content, spam, or content that breaches our community standards, but we do not edit reviews to make them more favourable to any provider;
• Where a provider has requested the removal of a review, we will only comply if the review is demonstrably false, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful.

All sponsored content is clearly labelled as "Sponsored", "Paid Partnership", or equivalent prominent disclosure at the top of the page, distinguishable from our independent editorial content.

We reserve the right to decline, edit, or require amendments to sponsored content that contains misleading claims, factual inaccuracies, or content that we consider inconsistent with our editorial standards. We are committed to correcting errors promptly and transparently. When a material inaccuracy is identified in our published content, we will:
